Service and Installation Coordinator

Key Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Service and Install Coordinator or similar role
  • Proficiency in English and Maths
  • Excellent knowledge of MS software
  • Hands-on experience with Simpro CRM software or similar CRM system
  • Fast learner and passion for excellent customer service
  • Excellent telephone manner and a can do attitude
  • Strong personal organisation skills and an ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers, engineers and internal colleagues to book in service and installation visits
  • Taking incoming calls from customers, engineers and other internal departments to assist the Service and Install teams
  • Dealing with any general service and install queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Developing strong working relationships with the engineering team
  • Managing the engineering teams schedules ensuring that customer expectations are achieved whilst minimising travel and downtime
  • Ensure that all engineer documentation is processed accurately through Simpro in advance of the job
  • Creating accurate invoices for service and installation jobs and dealing with invoicing queries
  • Monitoring the certification of maintenance and installation jobs for key accounts
  • Achieve monthly KPI’s for service and installation performance
  • Maintain Simpro customer details ensuring that all necessary information is accurately recorded
  • Undertake general service and installation administration

Trainee Fire and Security Engineer

Key Requirements and Skills:

  • An ideal candidate will have two years experience working within a construction or electrical company
  • Full driving licence and proof of your right to work in the UK
  • Ability to work 8.00am to 5.00pm excluding travel time, however, due to the nature of the role, flexibility in working hours is required due to occasional early starts
  • Fast learner and passion for customer service
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Proven communication skills
  • Professional and presentable at all times
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn new skills

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out under the guidance of the lead engineer, scheduled & reactive maintenance in an efficient manner
  • Effectively communicate with your lead engineer and our customers to ensure a good understanding of system/equipment status
  • Liaise & co-operate with the lead engineers and service coordinators to ensure the needs of our customers are met
  • Take ownership for own personal development including on-job training and Simpro (CRM)
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Operate within the requirements of company Quality Assurance & Health & Safety policies
  • Take responsibility for driving a company van, or assisting Senior Engineer in completing daily checks and liaising with Fleet personnel when required
  • Be responsible for stock, tools & equipment issued
  • Ensure PPE is always worn and be responsible for the security of tools

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intruder/Fire Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our busy Maintenance Department.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our busy maintenance department for a Service/Maintenance Engineer to work with our customers across Essex servicing and maintaining their Intruder and Fire Alarm Systems.

You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to communicate successfully to people in all levels.  As a problem solver you will be expected to service; fault find and carry out small repairs on a range of different systems - both large commercial fire and Intruder alarm systems and domestic intruder alarms.  This will be a challenging opportunity for a skilled engineer who has a professional and reliable outlook and can do attitude and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.  You will be rewarded with a branded Company Van, Laptop and Mobile Phone.  Salary will be dependant on your previous experience and we would like to see engineers with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity, full time hours Monday to Friday 8 am until 5pm with the opportunity to earn overtime.  Your Van and Fuel Card will be supplied on your start date.

You will need:

* Full CLEAN UK Full Driving License

* Previous experience (minimum 2 years)

* Please note we will carry out a standard DBS Check prior to start date agreed.
