Based in Hatfield Peverel, this popular restaurant has changed hands and is now being refurbished into a Turkish Restaurant.
Communicate UK carried out a full Addressable Fire Alarm and Intruder Alarm System takeover for maintenance and monitoring for the new owners.
Our Challenge
The original Fire and Intruder Alarm System was installed by our trained engineers in 2012. Although we had maintained these systems since this period, the previous owner was reluctant to invest budget to upgrade their security systems to meet new Fire Regulations and defined NSI Gold Accredited standards required for a Police Monitored System in 2018.
The Solution
Our Sales & Maintenance Manager, Glen Algar, visited the site to meet the new owners and quickly established the areas that required improvement. Communicate UK provided a cost effective quote to upgrade the existing systems to meet NSI and BAFE standards.
Our team of friendly engineers installed a completely new SMART Intruder Alarm System using existing wiring to minimise cost together with a new Bell Box providing better coverage and the ability to monitor the building when the restaurant is closed.
The Fire Alarm System was serviced including all optimal smoke heads and emergency lighting and replaced where necessary. Fire extinguishers were also serviced and the new regulated latest signage provided.
The Result
Opening night was a fantastic success and the engineers were lucky enough to enjoy the wonderful surroundings and food.
